Harold Porter National Botanical Garden

On Saturday we went to the Harold Porter National Botanical Garden. It was a beautiful day and we had the best part of an afternoon in the sun.

We followed the Disa Trail up the river. Still and cool it made for some stunning pictures.

South Africa's very own carnivorous sorry insectivorous plants put on a a lovely display. Sundew in the sun. Those pretty hairs with drops on are lures for unsuspecting ants which provide nitrogen to the plant in a very nitrogen poor environment.
